OUR MISSION
Mountaineers for Responsible Government is a nonpartisan conservative grassroots assembly of patriotic concerned Americans. Our mission is to educate and inform citizens within the West Virginia Congressional First District in order to wipe out the existing widespread lack of political knowledge and apathy which has led to the radical change, unsustainable financial expenditures and government expansion.
Our ultimate goal is the selection of honest citizen politicans who stand for our core values in upholding the United States Constitution and its amendments, protecting our sovereignty, ensuring free markets, standing for limited government, fiscal responsiblity and supporting a strong well-funded military for national defense.
We seek to elect men and women of good character who will not make politics a lifelong corrupt profession. We will support honest politicans who support our values and work to defeat corrupt politicians who do not represent the people but serve their own interests.
We will partner with other like-minded organizations to become an unstoppable force to defeat tyranny, protect the Constitution and the ideals penned by our founding fathers, protect individual rights and freedoms, return the power of the Government to the people, and ensure our country remains a Christian nation.
